Commemorate a landmark moment in Australian history with this prestigious release from the Royal Australian Mint. This 2026 set marks 60 years since Australia’s transition from the pound to decimal currency on 14 February 1966.

The collection includes all six standard denominations, each meticulously crafted from 99.99% gold and struck to a world-class proof finish. Highlighting this anniversary are custom reverse designs by Aaron Baggio on the 10c and 50c coins; the 50c reverse pays tribute to iconic pre-decimal coinage, while the 10c reverse represents the modern decimal coins used today. All coins feature the Daniel Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III on the obverse.

 

With a strictly limited mintage of only 50 sets, this collection is presented in a premium display case featuring a hand-engraved plaque and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
